The goal of this organization is founded on the belief that college is not for everyone, and that trades and skills give people opportunities for a full life with financial certainty. We believe that character and wisdom found in life lessons and challenges far outweigh the importance of scholarly prestige.

We are committed to serving the youth of Grimes County to achieve technical certifications and degrees through scholarships for books and tuition. We work with local schools to find the right candidates for the SSGT Edward J LeBlanc Memorial Scholarship. Candidates who show a commitment and determination to better their lives through vocational and certification training will be considered.
